Forward Deployed Engineer
Leads end-to-end deployment of frontier AI systems for strategic customers, from discovery and system design through production rollout. The role requires 5+ years of customer-facing engineering or technical deployment experience, full-stack coding ability, and experience with LLM-powered systems.

Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery across multiple customer deployments, from initial prototype through stable production.
- Build full-stack systems that deliver customer value and improve learning about model performance.
- Embed with customer teams, understand their needs, and guide adoption.
- Scope work, sequence delivery, remove blockers, and balance scope, speed, and quality.
- Contribute production code when needed to maintain progress or clarity.
- Codify working patterns into reusable tools, playbooks, and building blocks.
- Share field feedback with Research and Product to improve models and products.
- Collaborate with Product, Research, Partnerships, GRC, Security, and GTM teams.
- Travel up to 50%.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering or technical deployment experience, including customer-facing work.
- Experience scoping and delivering complex systems in fast-moving or ambiguous environments.
- Ability to write and review production-grade frontend and backend code using Python, JavaScript, or comparable technologies.
- Experience building or deploying systems powered by large language models or generative models.
- Understanding of how model behavior affects product experience.
- Strong communication with engineers, product teams, and customer stakeholders.
- Ability to simplify complexity, make sound decisions under pressure, identify risks early, and maintain delivery momentum.
