Responsibilities

  • Lead and transform global end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing operations, accounts payable, and procure-to-pay activities.
  • Architect and execute global procure-to-pay strategy, organizational design, vendor portfolio strategy, and process-transformation initiatives.
  • Drive enterprise-wide cost savings, profitability initiatives, commercial frameworks, and total-cost-of-ownership optimization.
  • Direct negotiation strategies for high-value vendor contracts across enterprise software, SaaS, technology infrastructure, and global business services.
  • Modernize procure-to-pay systems and workflows through automation, AI, enterprise ERP integrations, and scalable operating models.
  • Partner with C-suite and senior leaders across Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, Security, Workplace, and G&A.
  • Establish procurement policies, vendor risk-management frameworks, security approval workflows, governance programs, and internal controls.
  • Optimize vendor onboarding, tool acquisition, intake, review, and governance processes.
  • Establish spend analytics, vendor-performance scorecards, cycle-time tracking, and executive savings reporting.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global procurement, accounts payable, and strategic sourcing organization.
  • Direct departmental capital allocation and support operating-budget management.
  • Advise executives on procurement risk, vendor consolidation, trade-offs, and spend optimization.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive executive experience leading global procurement, strategic sourcing, procure-to-pay, or related operational functions.
  • Proven success architecting enterprise vendor negotiations and delivering measurable savings at scale.
  • Deep experience with software, SaaS, IT infrastructure, and complex indirect-spend categories in high-growth environments.
  • Experience modernizing enterprise procurement technology stacks, policy frameworks, and operating models.
  • Strong partnerships with C-suite and executive stakeholders.
  • Extensive organizational leadership experience, including attracting, developing, and retaining senior teams.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, analytical, and consensus-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in high-growth enterprise technology or SaaS companies.
  • Advanced experience partnering with Finance and Accounting on procure-to-pay implementations, ERP integrations, controls, and compliance.
  • Experience building vendor risk-management, security approval, and corporate governance programs.
  • Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced degree in business, supply chain, or finance.
  • Relevant executive certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual compensation range: $275,000–$321,000 USD, depending on geographic zone and residence.
  • Total compensation may include restricted stock units.
  • Benefits include health, pharmacy, optical and dental coverage, paid time off, disability coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility.
