Responsibilities
Account Strategy
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges, understand pain points, and determine where Postman can provide value.
- Build and nurture relationships with technical leaders and decision-makers.
- Advise customers on best practices for leveraging Postman throughout the API lifecycle.
- Define success criteria with customers and design and deliver tailored proofs of concept.
- Deliver demos, workshops, and hands-on sessions showcasing Postman's capabilities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align plans and execution and drive customer outcomes.
Customer and Industry Insights
- Maintain knowledge of Postman's capabilities, the API ecosystem, and trends including AI in API design, DevOps, and API security.
- Share customer insights with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions and improve customer experience.
Marketing and Evangelism
- Represent Postman at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Create and share technical content, including blogs, demos, and tutorials, highlighting real-world use cases and API best practices.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles supporting internal teams or external clients.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Expertise in one or more of the following:
- REST APIs and GraphQL APIs
- API lifecycle management tools, such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, or Apigee
- CI/CD and automation
- Cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Modern software development practices
- Excellent English communication skills and comfort delivering customer-facing presentations.
- Ability to travel up to 25% across the EMEA region, with occasional global travel for company events.

Work Arrangement
