Associate, Account Management
The Associate, Account Management role grows strategic client relationships and revenue across Flexport’s freight-forwarding and supply-chain services in Korea and APAC. It requires 3–5 years of account management experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, negotiation, and compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Develop and launch solutions for complex global freight-forwarding clients.
- Grow services across Flexport’s portfolio, including Air, Ocean, Trade Advisory, Customs, and Control Tower.
- Partner with global sales teams across the US, Europe, and APAC to identify expansion opportunities and increase share of wallet.
- Collaborate with Gateway Operations, Procurement, Fulfillment, Planning, ProServe, Implementation, Legal, Industry SMEs, and Trade & Financial Services teams to execute client strategies.
- Drive sales in Korea through upselling, client application demonstrations, client onboarding coordination, and management of client operating procedures.
- Conduct business reviews for key clients, evaluate operational performance, and follow up on NPS to improve client satisfaction.
- Oversee account-level quality assurance through metrics evaluations, volume forecasting, and discrepancy resolution.
- Build executive-level relationships with customer stakeholders and maintain partnerships with key decision-makers.
- Monitor industry and supply-chain developments and educate clients through periods of change.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 3–5 years of account management experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a record of delivering innovation and driving results.
- Experience working in complex global organizations and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Experience building global client relationships and growing strategic partnerships.
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
