Responsibilities
- Define and sharpen market positioning against competitors, translating into narratives for both enterprise partners and consumers.
- Own content strategy, structure, and copy for cardless.com; direct design and engineering resources to execute changes.
- Ensure consistent storytelling across all public-facing surfaces including website, decks, and one-pagers.
- Build and maintain sales collateral such as pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, competitive battlecards, and RFP boilerplate.
- Partner closely with Business leadership to iterate collateral based on real deal outcomes.
- Turn partner wins into credible case studies and proof points.
- Plan and execute go-to-market for new products, features, and partnerships, including press, content, and sales enablement.
- Drive external content like blog posts, LinkedIn messaging, and support PR/speaking opportunities.
- Prioritize and sequence launches for optimal market impact.
- Direct contract designers and agencies on graphics and creative assets.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in product marketing with ownership of positioning and messaging at a B2B or B2B2C company.
- Track record of owning both company website and sales collateral from the same narrative.
- Strong writer able to translate complex financial/technical products into clear stories for enterprise buyers and consistent consumer-facing card marketing.
- Hands-on builder who writes decks and first drafts themselves.
- Experience working directly and iteratively with sales/partnerships teams to rebuild collateral based on live conversations.
- Comfortable directing outside design/creative resources.
- Narrative and positioning craft: ability to craft sharp, defensible POV on why the product wins.
- Two-audience fluency in B2B2C: shift between enterprise executives and consumer experiences.
- Persuasive writing across decks, web copy, one-pagers.
- Sales partnership: spend time in the room with BD and Account Management.
- Strong design direction without executing in tools like Figma.
- High judgment and autonomy as the first PMM hire building the function from scratch.
