Director, Product Marketing, GTM Strategy

Build and lead Fleetio's commercialization and GTM function from the ground up. Own product messaging, positioning, repeatable sales plays, launch frameworks, and cross-functional alignment between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive adoption and revenue for new SaaS innovations.

GTM Strategy & Commercialization

  • Create repeatable frameworks that consistently bring new products to market.
  • Develop commercialization plans that align Product, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
  • Partner with Product leadership to ensure commercialization begins early in the product lifecycle.
  • Establish scalable launch readiness processes.
  • Help shape pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies.

Messaging, Positioning & Value Selling

  • Own corporate messaging framework and customer value narrative.
  • Develop positioning that shifts conversations from features to business outcomes.
  • Create messaging frameworks for company, platform, products, industries, and initiatives.
  • Build the First Call Deck and foundational sales messaging.
  • Develop solution narratives for Maintenance, AI, Fleet Intelligence, Telematics, and Partnerships.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across all teams.

Sales Plays & Enablement

  • Build repeatable sales plays to create pipeline and win deals.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement on playbooks, talk tracks, discovery guides, objection handling, and value-selling content.
  • Integrate messaging into MEDDPICC and other sales methodologies.
  • Develop vertical and industry-specific sales assets.
  • Maintain centralized repository of GTM assets.
  • Iterate materials based on customer feedback.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as connective tissue between Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Executive Leadership.
  • Build repeatable GTM planning rhythms.
  • Align teams around priorities, milestones, launch plans, and outcomes.
  • Partner with Demand Generation on campaigns.
  • Support partner commercialization through joint programs.

Building the Function

  • Establish the commercialization function from the ground up.
  • Define operating processes, templates, and best practices.
  • Scale through AI, automation, and repeatable systems.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster experimentation, learning, ownership, and measurable impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Product Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, Commercialization, or Revenue Marketing in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience building commercialization, product marketing, or GTM programs from scratch.
  • Expertise in positioning, messaging, value frameworks, and sales enablement.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership, Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing.
  • Proven ability to translate product innovation into commercial success.
  • Experience creating repeatable GTM operating models and launch processes.
  • Excellent executive communication and storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, Highspot (or similar), Notion, AI productivity tools, and modern GTM technology.
  • Builder's mindset with experience creating structure and scaling teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with fleet management, maintenance, AI, Fleet Intelligence, Telematics, or related domains.
