Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Product Design, Marketing, and Analytics stakeholders to conduct data-driven experiments and deliver MongoDB features.
- Lead a mission-critical technical program and own executive-level communication.
- Leverage technical and analytical skills to drive engineering programs forward and maximize business value.
- Identify patterns in complex information and take appropriate action.
- Design, maintain, and improve processes and tools that support program delivery.
- Build strategic partnerships with Product and Engineering stakeholders.
- Expand knowledge into new domains as needed.
- Mentor junior Technical Program Managers and lead by example.
- Coordinate multiple independent workstreams and organizations.
- Influence technical discussions by summarizing outcomes and next steps.
- Improve tools, operations, and architecture through program delivery expertise.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience working in an engineering organization and leading complex cross-functional technical programs.
- 10 years of software development experience, including cloud storage and compute products.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills across diverse engineering and stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to prioritize, execute, and coordinate complex programs.
- Experience with project tracking software such as Jira, Rally, or MS Project.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or comparable technologies.
- Interest in business automation using scripting tools such as Python, Google Apps Script, and Slack.
