Privacy Operations Program Manager
Own and scale Stripe’s core privacy operations programs, documentation, workflows, and request intake while partnering with Privacy Legal and Engineering. Requires 5+ years of privacy program management experience and expertise in global privacy regulations and operational frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program management for data subject requests (DSRs), privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs), records of processing activities (ROPA), transfer impact assessments (TIAs), and cookie compliance.
- Make operational decisions, enforce processes, and measure compliance to maintain regulatory readiness at scale.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including AI-enabled automation and structured workflows.
- Maintain accurate, auditable records, playbooks, process documentation, privacy assessments, and customer response libraries.
- Partner with Privacy Legal, Privacy Engineering, and cross-functional teams to fulfill user requests and apply global privacy and data-protection requirements.
- Triage and route incoming privacy requests, escalate novel or complex matters, and manage Jira run tickets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of privacy program management experience, including scaling cross-functional, organization-wide programs from the ground up.
- Strong collaboration, communication, relationship-building, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Experience with GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and PIPEDA.
- Hands-on experience with PIAs/DPIAs, data subject request workflows, ROPA, or other core privacy operations.
- Ability to identify root causes and trends and simplify complex narratives for others.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with US state privacy legislation, HIPAA, or GLBA.
- Technology industry experience.
- Experience using AI to accelerate privacy operations.
- Experience with third-party risk management, RFP and DDQ response processes, or cross-border transfer assessments.
- Privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM.
