About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall relationship with banking, wealth, and insurance customers, identifying key stakeholders and building relationships.
  • Manage partnership, commercial, and technical topics; develop strategies to increase customer product adoption, engagement, and growth to drive revenue.
  • Own revenue targets, including identifying and closing upsell opportunities and leading commercial negotiations for contract renewals.
  • Provide strategic advisory and product consultative guidance on Plaid and industry best practices.
  • Champion customers internally, translating feedback into product insights and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Partnerships, Support, Risk, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Engineering, Product, and Business Operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of quota carrying account management experience; ideally with large enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams for successful customer launches; B2B technology experience a strong plus.
  • Deep customer empathy and desire for customer success.
  • Quickly understand new technologies and become subject matter expert in Plaid’s APIs.
  • Interest in financial services and technical products; grit, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity.
  • Excitement for high-growth environment and building processes/tools.
  • Adaptable, capable of building long-lasting relationships.
