Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, and retain Technical Deployment Leads (TDLs) supporting Financial Services engagements.
- Manage TDLs through regular 1:1s, expectations, feedback, and growth plans.
- Own engagement portfolio health, delivery quality reviews, customer outcomes, executive relationships, and steering committees.
- Staff engagements in partnership with Forward Deployed Engineering managers and adjust assignments as scope changes.
- Lead the most complex engagements from delivery planning through production deployment.
- Set standards for statements of work, MVP scoping, value measurement, and impact stories.
- Develop reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on qualification, scope, statements of work, go-to-market materials, reference cases, and positioning.
- Run engagement reviews, knowledge-sharing, escalation support, reporting, and team goal-setting.
- Share delivery lessons and Financial Services use cases with Product, Research, and leadership.
- Travel to customer sites approximately 25–50% of the time.
Requirements
- 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery.
- At least 3 years managing people responsible for delivery outcomes.
- Experience building and leading technical delivery teams in enterprise environments, ideally embedded or forward-deployed teams.
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production.
- Financial Services experience, including work with banks, insurers, or asset managers.
- Understanding of model risk, security, and compliance reviews in Financial Services.
- Ability to navigate architecture discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and assess agent designs.
- Experience with value-based scoping, TCO/ROI quantification, and post-deployment impact measurement.
- Experience building a team, practice, or function from an early stage.
- Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Compensation
- Annual compensation: $240,000–$450,000 USD.
