Senior Global Benefits Manager
Owns the design, governance, compliance, and continuous improvement of global employee benefits programs. The role leads ambiguous cross-functional initiatives, manages vendors and brokers, analyzes program costs, and communicates recommendations across People, Finance, Legal, and regional teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and ongoing improvement of health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across multiple countries.
- Scope and lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives, including country expansions, M&A integrations, and plan redesigns.
- Own global vendor and broker relationships, including renewal negotiations and service accountability.
- Advise on benefits compliance, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, GDPR, and international equivalents.
- Analyze program cost and utilization data to identify savings and inform annual budgeting.
- Build benefits education and self-service resources for employees.
- Apply AI and other tools to improve reporting, analysis, and employee support.
Requirements
- Experience independently leading complex, ambiguous, cross-functional projects.
- Working knowledge of benefits and employment compliance frameworks, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and international equivalents such as GDPR.
- Experience managing vendors, brokers, or carriers, including renewal negotiations.
- Track record of turning cost and utilization data into actionable recommendations.
- Comfort adopting new tools, including AI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgment and independence in a fast-changing, multi-country environment.
- Degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Paylocity or Bswift.
- CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience supporting benefits during an M&A integration or new country entry.
- Experience building benefits programs in a high-growth, distributed company.
