Own compensation strategy, job architecture, market benchmarking, review cycles, data systems, benefits strategy, and equity framework development as the company’s first dedicated Compensation Partner. Requires 6+ years of compensation experience, strong analytics, equity expertise, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Translate compensation philosophy into practical strategy, guardrails, salary bands, and decision frameworks.
  • Maintain job architecture and salary bands; conduct market research and benchmarking and recommend proactive adjustments.
  • Own compensation data, analysis, and systems, including compensation modules such as Workday; provide pay equity, competitiveness, and spend analysis.
  • Design and run the end-to-end compensation review cycle, including timing, guardrails, manager tools, calibration, rollout, and guidance.
  • Own the strategic direction of benefits across geographies in partnership with People Operations.
  • Partner with Finance on equity compensation framework design, modeling, guidelines, and decision-making.
  • Advise HRBPs and leaders on pay decisions, offer approvals, and job evaluations; educate managers on compensation practices.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive compensation experience, ideally maintaining and evolving compensation programs in a fast-growing company.
  • Direct experience with equity compensation, including options, RSUs, or similar instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills in market data, compensation modeling, and turning analysis into recommendations.
  • Hands-on ownership of compensation processes and details.
  • Experience partnering with HRBPs, Finance, and People Operations.
  • Excellent written communication for executive and manager audiences.
  • Familiarity with compensation systems and survey data sources such as Workday, Radford, Pave, and Carta Total Comp.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing sales or go-to-market compensation plans.
  • Experience managing benefits strategy through international or multi-geography expansion.
  • Experience owning or substantially contributing to benefits strategy.
  • Experience building a compensation review cycle alongside a performance management program.
