Leads the HR Generalist team while serving as the People Partner for HR, supporting talent strategy, performance management, organizational health, compensation, employee relations, and scalable people programs. Requires 10+ years of HRBP experience and 5+ years managing people.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of HR Generalists and act as HR for HR at Zoox.
- Support strategies for integrating, retaining, and developing talent.
- Support the performance management process, including calibrations, promotions, and performance improvement processes and plans.
- Support organizational design and organizational health assessments in partnership with People Partners; identify potential risks associated with change and develop mitigation strategies.
- Understand compensation philosophy and structures to evaluate trends and implications for pay programs.
- Provide input and insight into inclusion and diversity and learning and development needs.
- Support and mitigate employee relations issues effectively.
- Manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and objectives, and coordinate cross-functional teams when necessary.
- Assess talent trends and risks, using data to influence leaders and inform decisions.
- Contribute to the enhancement, support, and scaling of talent practices and people programs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner.
- 5+ years of experience as a people manager, preferably overseeing an HR Generalist team.
- Demonstrated experience building relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success executing inclusive, scalable talent strategies and programs in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Experience enhancing and scaling programs tailored to different phases of a growing startup, including building programs from scratch or revamping existing programs.
- Demonstrated change management and project management skills.
- Strong judgment in assessing employee and business risk.
- Knowledge of compensation strategies and packages that include equity.
