The Opportunity:
Operating at the intersection of logistics and tech, Flexport seeks a consultative Inbound Sales Development Representative based out of the Chicago office to qualify inbound leads and drive new business growth.
You will:
- Identify and qualify new inbound sales opportunities for Flexport
- Partner closely with marketing in developing, testing, and implementing new inbound funnels
- Work with Account Executives to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities in your market segment
- Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, and other social mediums
- Shadow Account Executives in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills you’ll need for the next role on the Flexport sales team
You should have:
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree OR 1+ year of relevant experience preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- An enthusiasm for cold-calling prospects and a willingness to hop on the phone with new people every day and explain Flexport’s value propositions
- A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry
Compensation:
The US base salary range for this position is $55,000 USD (does not include bonus, equity, and benefits).
