Systems Engineer
The Systems (Sales) Engineer will serve as the primary technical adviser for enterprise sales, leading evaluations, demos, proofs of concept, and technical qualification. The role requires 5+ years of enterprise sales engineering experience in networking or relevant software, strong communication skills, and networking expertise.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales organization working with large enterprise accounts.
- Act as the product advocate and key technical adviser for the sales team.
- Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
- Answer technical questions and communicate business and technical value to all levels of management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Establish technical feasibility and qualify potential technical deployments.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs).
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.
- Convey customer requirements to internal product management and engineering teams.
- Represent the product to customers, partners, and at conferences, seminars, and other field events.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of networking and security solutions and vendors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
- 5+ years of experience selling to enterprise customers for a networking company or relevant software vendor.
- Superior presentation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of API-driven workflows and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, jq, and GraphQL.
- Experience working with a startup company.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent educational experience.
- One or more of the following certifications: CCIE, JNCIE, or VCDX.
