Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise Accounts
This senior solutions architect advises complex enterprise customers on adopting the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, leading technical pre-sales engagements, proofs of concept, architecture design, and executive stakeholder alignment. The role requires experience in data engineering, warehousing, or AI/ML, plus Python or SQL and public cloud expertise.

Responsibilities
- Engage complex enterprise customers to help them achieve unified platform goals.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects.
- Coach account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through engagements involving the cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Advise customers as a trusted expert on data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Pursue development through technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.
Requirements
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales cycles.
- Technical background in data engineering, data warehousing, or machine learning/AI.
- Ability to work autonomously with ambiguous requirements and challenging customer environments.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams.
- Coding experience in Python or SQL and willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on experience with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate competitive landscapes.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% to London offices and customer sites.
