Legal Engineer - Custom Solutions
Designs and deploys tailored AI-powered workflows for law firms and in-house legal teams across Australia and APAC. The role requires Australian legal qualification, at least three years of post-qualification experience, strong legal-workflow expertise, and executive-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with lawyers at current and prospective customers to understand complex workflow challenges, scope custom solution requirements, and design tailored Harvey implementations.
- Build and refine custom workflows, playbooks, and product configurations within the Harvey platform, ensuring solutions are credible, scalable, and grounded in legal-team workflows.
- Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success on post-sale adoption, change-management strategy, and account expansion.
- Translate legal workflow insights and user feedback into concrete product direction for engineering and product teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Legal Innovation teams to develop Australia- and APAC-relevant content, use cases, and enablement materials.
Requirements
- Qualified to practice law in Australia.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team.
- Executive engagement skills and presence, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Outstanding presentation skills for legal and executive audiences, including product demonstrations.
- Strong understanding of legal processes and workflows relevant to the Australia legal market.
- Comfort operating at speed in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Nice to Have
- Sales or customer-facing experience, including law-firm business development, client secondments, or client-relationship management.
