Responsibilities
Architect People Solutions and Bridge Business-Technology Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between People stakeholders and engineering teams, translating global and localized business needs into clear technical requirements using an AI-native approach, and validating that delivered solutions meet business objectives.
- Maintain expertise in People domains including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Onboarding, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience, as well as supporting systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, and boundary applications.
- Define the strategic roadmap for AI-first People systems, platforms, and data architecture.
- Design and document business processes that streamline workflows, eliminate redundancies, and improve operational efficiency while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop business requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering delivery.
Drive AI-Enabled Transformation Across People
- Partner with People leaders to reimagine processes through an AI-first lens, prototype solutions, and build conviction for change.
- Identify opportunities for AI and automation across candidate screening, onboarding, personalized learning, predictive retention analysis, and other People workflows.
- Establish frameworks for responsible AI adoption, including compliance, data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
- Research emerging AI capabilities, models, platforms, and tools for People use cases.
Enable Strategic Decision-Making and Platform Optimization
- Develop business cases that quantify ROI for technology investments.
- Lead People systems architecture discussions covering integrations, data flows, technical dependencies, and proposed changes.
- Partner with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to meet data privacy, audit, and regulatory obligations related to employee data.
- Support M&A integration by assessing acquired companies’ People systems and architecting integration roadmaps.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business solution architecture, business process design, People/HR systems implementation, or related roles.
- Deep expertise in People operations and systems.
- Experience with AI and automation in business contexts, including LLMs, intelligent automation tools, or AI-powered workflow solutions.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions at the intersection of People teams and engineering.
- Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, data modeling, integration patterns, and modern SaaS platforms.
- Demonstrated success leading People/HR business process transformation initiatives with measurable improvements.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-influence skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Haves
- Hands-on experience with Workday, Greenhouse, Dayforce, or similar People enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience with Claude, Workato, UiPath, Power Automate, or similar AI and automation platforms.
- Experience with change management and adoption of systems or processes across large People organizations.
- Background in product management, solution architecture, or technical program management.
- Experience in high-growth technology companies or significant digital transformation environments.
- M&A integration experience, particularly People systems consolidation and harmonization.
