Program Manager - Regulatory
The Program Manager will lead regulatory and certification programs for autonomous robotic products, translating compliance requirements into evidence plans, milestones, and release gates. The role requires 6+ years of relevant experience, technical documentation and risk-management expertise, and a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities
- Own the regulatory and certification program plan for the robot platform and deployed configurations.
- Map product, electrical, radio, machinery, functional-safety, workplace, transport, and market-entry requirements across target geographies.
- Convert requirements into owners, design inputs, test plans, technical files, evidence packages, milestones, and release gates.
- Coordinate internal design reviews and external test houses, consultants, certification bodies, and authorities.
- Track risks, gaps, dependencies, costs, and schedules; escalate decisions early and drive closure.
- Maintain controlled documentation, compliance matrices, declarations, certificates, reports, and audit trails.
- Integrate regulatory readiness into product development, supplier qualification, manufacturing, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, certification program management, product compliance, safety engineering, or complex technical program management.
- Experience taking electromechanical, industrial, automotive, aerospace, robotics, or connected hardware products through formal compliance processes.
- Strong working knowledge of technical documentation, risk management, test planning, and evidence-based certification.
- Ability to coordinate senior engineering stakeholders and external laboratories while maintaining clear accountability.
- Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and program tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to UL, CE, FCC, IEC, ISO, OSHA, machinery safety, functional safety, EMC, or radio compliance.
- Experience with autonomous systems, construction equipment, industrial machinery, or products deployed in the United States.
- Formal program-management or quality-system experience.
