Responsibilities
- Own commercial delivery of professional services across multiple customer engagements, from short individual projects to six-month, multi-person engagements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, including CxOs, throughout delivery.
- Manage risks, align cross-functional teams, and ensure customer outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate project reporting and communicate delivery progress and results.
- Identify account expansion opportunities and support continued Databricks platform adoption.
- Improve delivery best practices and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale data or AI/ML projects in customer-facing environments.
- Experience managing teams of up to five people and projects with contract values exceeding $0.5 million.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, executive communication, governance, and influence skills.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP, plus familiarity with data lakehouse architecture or modern data platforms.
- Experience managing multiple technical and business workstreams, scope, schedule, and risk.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, solution architecture, sales, and partner teams.
- Experience establishing delivery frameworks using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies; PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is preferred.
- Experience managing change control, statements of work, and margin protection.
- Ability to identify and mitigate delivery risks, operate amid ambiguity, and maintain accountability for customer success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience expanding or upselling services during delivery engagements.
- Ability to mentor team members.
