Senior Forward Deployed Product Manager

Own strategic customer deployments of an AI customer-support product, from demos and solution scoping through configuration and measurable outcomes. The role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, executive communication, data-driven thinking, and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

  • Own outcomes for a portfolio of strategic customers deploying Fin.
  • Understand customers’ businesses, support operations, and technical environments to create trusted deployment plans.
  • Pitch and demo Fin, scope solutions, configure deployments hands-on, develop custom solutions when needed, and remove product, integration, and cross-functional blockers.
  • Serve as the AI expert for customers and help them achieve strong results with Fin.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and R&D to deliver coordinated customer outcomes.
  • Turn field learnings and evidence into product and roadmap input.
  • Build deployment patterns, templates, and best practices to improve future implementations.
  • Help define the Forward Deployed Product Manager role and operating model.

Requirements

  • No minimum years of experience required; impact, drive, and potential are emphasized.
  • Customer empathy, bias toward action, and focus on measurable results.
  • Ability to pitch to executives and discuss technical details with engineers.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, SaaS infrastructure, large language models, and low-code tooling.
  • Ability to onboard customers into technical product configurations.
  • Evidence-based approach to deployment and product decisions, including interpreting conversation logs, usage data, and customer-experience metrics.
  • Strong cross-functional influence and collaboration skills.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Strong organization and operational rigor while managing multiple deployments and priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building products for enterprise customers.
  • Startup or B2B SaaS experience.
  • Background in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or customer success.

Compensation

  • Base salary range for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area: $199,800–$222,000.
  • Eligible employees may also receive a corporate bonus or sales incentive and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
