Responsibilities
Data Pipeline & Infrastructure
- Drive the roadmap for device data collection through the JavaScript Agent, including instrumentation contracts, schema evolution, and reliable delivery to Server APIs.
- Own ingestion, storage, and processing initiatives while balancing reliability, cost, and scale.
Analytics Dashboard, Server APIs & MCP Query Experiences
- Define how users view and interact with device data across the Analytics Dashboard, Server APIs, and MCP experiences.
- Translate customer feedback and internal needs into a prioritized roadmap covering query UX, report templates, data freshness SLAs, and export flows.
- Lead customer migration between major Server API versions.
Roadmap & Prioritization
- Maintain a roadmap across the JavaScript Agent, Server APIs, Dashboard, and MCP Server.
- Run quarterly planning, write product requirements documents, manage cross-team dependencies, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Launch & Customer Enablement
- Coordinate product launches with product marketing, including go-to-market timing and messaging alignment.
- Own documentation updates and help create internal and customer-facing training materials and best-practices content.
- Partner with engineering, product marketing, and customer success to align education materials with the release calendar.
Requirements
Role-Specific Background
- Deep understanding of big data pipelines and the collection, storage, and query requirements that shape product decisions at scale.
- Product management experience with data analytics products; experience with identity, anti-fraud, or data intelligence platforms is a plus.
- Experience with event-level data APIs and high-volume behavioral or identity event streams, including filtering by visitor, time range, and metadata flags.
- Ability to evaluate API query capabilities and payload fields for enterprise customers and downstream analytics pipelines.
- Familiarity with rate limiting, regional data residency, authentication patterns, and pagination as product constraints.
Product Management Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally taking an existing product through a growth or scaling phase.
- Technical fluency sufficient for credible discussions with engineers about APIs, architecture, and system constraints.
- Experience managing competing priorities across individual contributors, managers, and executives, and driving alignment without direct authority.
- Track record of translating customer needs into shipped products through customer research, sales partnership, or usage data.
- Experience defining and tracking product metrics and using data to prioritize roadmap decisions.
- Experience making and defending trade-off decisions under resource constraints.
- Experience partnering with sales and marketing on launches, pricing inputs, or positioning.
Compensation
- US cash base compensation: $126,000–$170,000 annually.
