Product Manager, Desk

Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Desk, a reseller platform serving travel and hospitality partners. The role requires 5+ years of product management experience, strong marketplace or B2B SaaS expertise, and knowledge of travel distribution, payments, or operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own Desk strategy, product outcomes, and multi-quarter roadmap.
  • Define differentiated product bets for concierge workflows, multi-experience itineraries, vouchers, payments, commissions, reporting, and real-time availability.
  • Own outcomes including product adoption, migration progress, booking volume/TTV, onboarding success, payment-processing revenue, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop market understanding across travel experiences, hospitality distribution, hotel concierges, resorts, attractions, DMCs, activity desks, and multi-supplier resellers.
  • Conduct client and frontline research; distinguish urgent requests from scalable product needs.
  • Define product experiences for reseller segments with varying inventory, commission, invoicing, reporting, and payment requirements.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to deliver simple, reliable, fast workflows and complex integrations.
  • Establish product positioning and boundaries with related products.
  • Collaborate with commercial, sales, onboarding, customer support, and finance teams to guide go-to-market execution and reduce adoption friction.
  • Communicate product rationale, trade-offs, and decisions; align stakeholders and drive accountability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on product management experience.
  • Experience owning complex B2B SaaS, marketplace, payments, or operational workflow products from problem definition through measurable outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of tours and activities, travel, hospitality, concierge operations, destination management, reseller or affiliate distribution, or a closely related multi-sided marketplace.
  • Expertise in client discovery, segmentation, opportunity sizing, strategy, roadmap prioritization, hypothesis-driven delivery, product analytics, and outcome-based decision-making.
  • Strong commercial judgment connecting client value, adoption, bookings/TTV, retention, and monetization.
  • Confident leadership style with the ability to challenge stakeholders, create clarity, make decisions, and drive accountability.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design on complex workflows and integrations.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with concierge, DMC, hotel/resort, attraction, or travel-experiences operations.
  • Experience with payment processing, merchant-of-record models, invoicing, commission calculation, or financial reconciliation workflows.
  • Experience leading legacy modernization or migration programs.
  • Experience building or scaling a multi-sided marketplace, reseller network, or partner platform.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $120,557–$180,835, plus 15% bonus potential.
