Product Specialist, NetSuite

Own NetSuite expertise within the Product organization by creating scalable scoping and implementation processes, resolving complex configurations and integrations, and influencing the NetSuite integration roadmap. Requires 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience and deep SuiteCloud and accounting-workflow knowledge.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Build and own NetSuite scoping and implementation playbooks for Solutions Consultants and Implementation Managers.
  • Run recurring training and office-hours sessions to improve organizational NetSuite fluency.
  • Identify manual NetSuite scoping work that should become reusable internal tooling and define what gets built.
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for complex NetSuite configurations, including multi-subsidiary, multi-book, and non-standard revenue recognition setups.
  • Prototype SuiteScript or RESTlet fixes and configuration changes when needed; diagnose integration failures at the API or script level.
  • Build and maintain a NetSuite sandbox environment that simulates customer complexity, including multi-subsidiary setups, ARM, and custom scripts.
  • Partner with the Integration Product Manager and Engineering to translate customer requests into product and roadmap decisions.
  • Review proposed integration architecture and workflow decisions from a NetSuite technical perspective.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience, ideally as an implementation consultant, techno-functional consultant, solutions architect, or in-house NetSuite administrator.
  • Deep expertise with SuiteCloud tools, including SuiteScript 1.0/2.0, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, RESTlets, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management and its interaction with contract and billing data.
  • Experience designing or maintaining bi-directional NetSuite integrations with third-party systems, including master-data and transactional-data synchronization.
  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite accounting workflows, including multi-entity and multi-book consolidation, revenue recognition, AR/AP, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
  • Ability to build processes and tooling from scratch in an ambiguous, 0-to-1 environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteCloud Developer, SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or Administrator.
  • Experience with iPaaS or middleware platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or Workato.
  • Experience working with or advising NetSuite VARs, systems integrators, or accounting firms.
  • Fintech or vertical SaaS experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $130,000–$160,000 annual compensation plus equity.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Employer-covered medical, dental, and vision premiums of up to 100%.
  • Lunch provided, plus dinner for later in-office days.
  • Parental leave of up to 12 weeks.
