Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex API architectures using advanced API design and API management principles.
- Develop and implement secure authentication and authorization strategies for API services.
- Drive adoption of automation technologies, including continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Manage technical aspects of client projects, including scoping, planning, and execution.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Use Docker, Git, and Linux for solution development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a subject matter expert in the software development life cycle.
- Perform complex system integration tasks.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, software architecture, or senior development.
- Expertise in API design and API management platforms; Kong experience is highly regarded.
- In-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and best practices.
- Experience with automation technologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- Proficiency with Docker, Git, and Linux.
- Extensive software development life cycle experience.
- Project management experience with a record of successful delivery.
- Strong system integration experience.
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
