Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of customers.
- Design and guide customers’ observability maturity journeys and technical roadmaps.
- Architect, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize observability solutions across modern infrastructure and application environments.
- Conduct technical reviews, health checks, root-cause analysis, and customer success assessments.
- Advise customers on best practices, adoption, cost optimization, product usage, and return on investment.
- Own the customer lifecycle with Engagement Managers and Onboarding Solutions Architects.
- Build relationships with engineers, SREs, architects, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent customer needs internally and influence product feedback and roadmap priorities.
- Conduct customer training sessions and workshops.
- Create technical documentation, guides, tutorials, and reports.
- Collaborate with account teams on customer reviews, satisfaction assessments, ROI analysis, and future needs.
- Travel as needed, up to 25%.
Requirements
- Located in Melbourne or Sydney.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical support, technical account management, consulting, sales engineering, or professional services within the technology industry.
- Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of observability solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to provide timely workarounds and solutions to customer business needs.
- Observability expertise, preferably at the architect level.
- Ability to articulate product value and technical advantages to customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to solve complex technical challenges and develop creative customer solutions.

- Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki experience.
- 5+ years of technical sales, technical account management, or other post-sales technical experience.
- Experience with open-source technologies or observability platforms.
- Experience connecting product usage to business value and ROI.
- Customer lifecycle management experience.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues and performing root-cause analysis.
- Experience with CRM software, ticketing systems, and programming languages.
- Recent coding bootcamp experience or prior post-sales or engineering experience.
Compensation
- OTE compensation range: $207,000–$256,000.
- Includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
