Partnerships Lead

Leads long-term senior relationships with Nuro’s critical cloud, compute, supplier, and OEM partners, overseeing negotiations, renewals, escalations, and internal execution. The role requires approximately seven or more years of strategy or operating experience, strong commercial judgment, and executive-level communication skills.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own senior- and executive-level relationships with existing cloud, compute, Tier 1, and OEM partners.
  • Serve as the first escalation point for partner issues and resolve relationship problems.
  • Lead commercial terms, renewals, and amendments for existing agreements in collaboration with business development, legal, engineering, and finance.
  • Drive internal follow-through by tracking commitments, coordinating cross-functional work, and keeping partners informed.
  • Maintain a strategic view of each relationship’s status, value, and two- to three-year direction.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials communicating recommendations, tradeoffs, and deal rationale.
  • Partner with business development on new opportunities arising from existing relationships.

Requirements

  • Approximately 7+ years of experience, beginning in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy, with meaningful operating experience thereafter.
  • Experience managing senior partner or customer relationships over multiple years.
  • Experience participating in commercial negotiations and independently carrying those conversations.
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through across multiple partners and workstreams.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly to commercial audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with senior internal and external audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to take ownership to move work forward.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in autonomous systems, automotive, semiconductors, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience managing partner relationships at a company that licenses technology rather than sells a finished product.
  • MBA from a top university, or a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base pay range: $176,400–$264,600.
  • Eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
