The role leads solution alignment and onboarding continuity, requiring at least four years of relevant architecture, consulting, implementation, or business-systems experience.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Review pre-sales discovery, commitments, requirements, and proposed solutions to ensure continuity from Sales into onboarding.
  • Lead customer Solution Alignment sessions to validate business objectives, requirements, workflows, dependencies, assumptions, and success criteria.
  • Understand current-state processes and design scalable future-state workflows using Vividly.
  • Translate customer requirements into solution designs that Implementation, Integrations, Managed Services, and Customer Success can execute.
  • Design solutions across trade planning, deductions, cash application, accruals, forecasting, reporting, pricing, customer and product hierarchies, revenue, and related workflows.
  • Understand how Vividly fits within customers’ ecosystems, including ERP systems, banks, retailer and distributor data, syndicated data, and other business systems.
  • Define integration requirements, data flows, system dependencies, cadence, and technical constraints with Integration Solutions Engineering.
  • Define document retrieval, deduction, and operational requirements with Managed Services.
  • Establish requirements and acceptance criteria before configuration or development begins.
  • Identify implementation risks, dependencies, scope gaps, and product limitations early.
  • Maintain documentation of solution decisions, workflows, requirements, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Provide Implementation with an actionable blueprint for portal configuration and customer setup.
  • Remain engaged throughout onboarding to answer design questions and resolve ambiguity.
  • Evaluate newly discovered requirements and classify them as configuration changes, integration requirements, product gaps, or scope changes.
  • Support change-order and re-scoping discussions.
  • Participate in design reviews, UAT, implementation checkpoints, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on recurring customer requirements and product gaps.
  • Establish reusable solution patterns, implementation standards, discovery frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ensure solution context transfers to Customer Success after go-live.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Solutions Consulting, Implementation Consulting, Business Systems, ERP consulting, CPG technology, or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience translating complex business processes into scalable system or workflow designs.
  • Ability to move between business requirements and technical discussions without personally engineering every solution.
  • Understanding of financial or operational workflows such as deductions, accounts receivable, accruals, revenue, forecasting, reconciliation, or accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of APIs, data flows, field mappings, master data, authentication, and system dependencies.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with Accounting, Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to distinguish business, configuration, integration, product-gap, and scope-change requirements.
  • Strong documentation, communication, judgment, organization, and executive-presence skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work with incomplete information, learn new products and workflows, and maintain context across multiple implementations.
  • Comfort working directly with customers as a trusted advisor.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
