Partner AI Deployment Engineer - AWS
Leads strategic AWS partnership engagements and guides enterprise customers from AI ideation through production deployment. The role combines end-to-end solution architecture, hands-on prototyping, partner enablement, and ecosystem-scale technical leadership, requiring 8+ years of technical consulting or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
Strategic AWS Engagement & Influence
- Serve as the senior technical counterpart to AWS field leadership, building trust and credibility across regions and teams.
- Influence joint account strategy and technical direction for high-priority opportunities.
- Define engagement models, prioritization frameworks, and best practices for OpenAI's engagement with AWS.
- Identify and drive new opportunities and high-impact use cases across the AWS ecosystem.
Complex Deal Leadership & Execution
- Lead technical strategy for large, ambiguous, and high-stakes enterprise engagements.
- Guide customers from ideation through architecture design, prototyping, and production deployment.
- Act as a technical decision-maker and escalation point for complex implementations.
- Prioritize opportunities and allocate technical resources for maximum impact.
Solution Architecture & Hands-On Building
- Design and communicate end-to-end AI architectures leveraging OpenAI and AWS services.
- Build and guide prototypes, proofs of concept, and reference implementations.
- Establish best practices for scalable, secure, and production-ready generative AI systems.
- Design solutions for repeatability, extensibility, and partner-led delivery.
Ecosystem Enablement & Scale
- Enable AWS and partners through workshops, playbooks, reference architectures, and demos.
- Develop reusable solution patterns and assets for independent deployment by AWS teams and systems integrators.
- Mentor and uplift partner technical teams.
- Scale impact through GSIs, RSIs, and ISVs.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Feedback
- Partner with Alliances, Product, Engineering, GTM, and Enablement teams on strategy and execution.
- Bridge field and product teams by delivering insights that inform roadmap and prioritization.
- Contribute to internal knowledge systems and define standards, patterns, and playbooks for the ADE function.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical consulting or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
- Ability to operate as a technical leader and systems thinker.
- Ability to balance hands-on building with strategic influence and scale.
- Strong judgment in determining when to go deep technically versus enabling others.
- Ability to build trust with engineers, architects, and executives.
- Experience creating repeatable patterns rather than one-off solutions.
- Comfort owning ambiguous, high-visibility problem spaces.
- Ecosystem-oriented approach to customer and partner success.
