About the role
What you'll do
Lead all technical discussions with prospect IT/InfoSec/Technical Architecture personnel
Translate customer requirements around platform, clients, authentication/authorization, security, backup/business continuity, data integration, penetration tests, and security certifications
Prepare RFI/RFP/InfoSec responses, participate in prospect meetings and on-site workshops
Collaborate daily with Sales, Product Management, Security, Customer Success, Legal, and Marketing teams
Interpret technical/security/IT requirements and map them to platform strengths while identifying risks
Develop and standardize content and thought leadership around technical topics
Foster communication between IT and business personnel with prospects, customers, and internal teams
Recognize technical concerns specific to each customer and anticipate/address areas of concern
Build trust with technical and non-technical teams internally and externally
Communicate effectively with C-Level executives, especially CTOs, CISOs, and CIOs
Support customer development teams implementing APIs and connectors into data architecture
Requirements
Strong experience in Technical presales or equivalent role
Experience in technical presales/engineering, technical implementation, network/server administration, REST-based APIs, or ETL (preferred)
Technical consulting/implementation experience, preferably with enterprise planning software
Experience with technology-enabled business transformation projects
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and organization skills
Strong leadership and people development skills
Ability to work in a team environment and share best practices
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to travel up to 30%
BS/BA degree (preferred)
Experience with RFP collaboration tools (Ombud) and demo tools (Consensus) are a plus

Experience with RFP collaboration tools such as Ombud
