Staff Software Engineer - Salesforce Development
Leads the design, development, integration, and delivery of secure Salesforce and AI-powered business solutions. Requires staff-level software development experience, deep Salesforce expertise, Python and AWS skills, and strong capabilities in automation, testing, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and platform configuration tools.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Build and maintain Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Develop serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and other cloud-native services.
- Build intelligent automation with Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and Amazon Bedrock.
- Design conversational workflows, internal copilots, and AI agents.
- Develop Salesforce features across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Console, and Experience Cloud.
- Own delivery from discovery through deployment, including documentation, testing, production support, and root-cause analysis.
- Create unit, integration, functional, and automation test cases.
- Provide estimates and feasibility assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor engineers.
- Lead project delivery while ensuring timelines and implementation standards are met.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, process automation tools, and Lightning Web Components.
- 7+ years of software development experience using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Communities, coding, and declarative frameworks.
- Strong Python development experience for automation, integrations, and AI/ML workflows.
- Experience designing cloud-native solutions with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Step Functions, or serverless architectures.
- Experience with generative AI and LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Amazon Bedrock.
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to independently manage and deliver full-lifecycle Salesforce projects.
- Strong understanding of secure development and sensitive-data protection.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer I/II or Service Cloud Consultant.
- Experience with Einstein Bots, predictive analytics, Agentforce, or other AI-powered Salesforce tools.
- Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD experience.
- Experience building multi-agent orchestration or workflow automation platforms.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI governance.
- Experience improving customer service workflows and automation.
