Responsibilities
- Deliver program management expertise based on experience, continuous learning, and in-depth knowledge of Stripe’s products and implementation best practices.
- Drive innovation and adoption of deployment practices, provide product adoption insights, and help users achieve maximum value from their Stripe investment.
- Improve and enable the Stripe Implementation Methodology and its associated tools, templates, and processes.
- Establish program governance to manage requirements in line with agreed scope and business objectives.
- Manage the integration of Stripe products into users’ application and technical architectures, testing and change-management strategies, and transformation timelines.
- Provide risk assessment, prevention and mitigation plans, and efficient identification, tracking, and resolution of issues and decisions with internal and user stakeholders.
- Drive alignment between users and Stripe Product and Engineering teams on the product roadmap.
- Ensure a smooth transition of implemented Stripe capabilities into user operations, including knowledge transfer and handover to Stripe Support.
- Participate in a global practitioner community to improve how Stripe leads and supports users through complex implementations of Stripe’s payment infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of consulting experience partnering with enterprise-level strategic users on technology solutions, with a track record of top performance, or experience in a related field.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and craft tailored solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn and explain technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Proven program management skills and experience.
- Strong critical-thinking skills, including the ability to identify suboptimal processes and drive more efficient ways of working.
- Ability to recognize recurring user-facing issues and build scalable solutions.
- Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and lead executive stakeholders and key decision-makers to drive agreed outcomes.
- Experience working with or within complex enterprise organizational and decision-making structures.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence Product and Engineering teams to advocate for users and shape the product roadmap.
- Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, working primarily with clients in the Greater China market.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a growth-stage internet or enterprise software company.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, PSM1, or PSPO1.
- Experience in the payments industry.
- Familiarity with API integration and testing.
