Product Growth & Adoption Manager

Own product adoption, engagement, and user growth for research tools serving Democratic and progressive organizations. The role combines product marketing, user research, lifecycle programs, analytics, public-facing education, and deep experience across political campaigns.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own adoption and engagement outcomes for products, including usage depth and bringing on new user cohorts.
  • Serve as a public face for products across the progressive ecosystem through demos, trainings, conference panels, cycle kickoffs, and community discussions.
  • Grow the user base by bringing on new users and introducing products to new audiences.
  • Help users regularly find research and answers with the tools and incorporate products into their workflows.
  • Build product stories for nonprofits, Senate and House campaigns, state parties, and advocacy organizations.
  • Translate product capabilities into actionable language for campaign managers and communications directors.
  • Conduct user research to understand adoption, stalled usage, and churn; translate insights into growth tactics, adoption messaging, and product recommendations.
  • Create and maintain one-pagers, case studies, and training decks.
  • Build email and lifecycle marketing programs that drive engagement, product adoption, and customer acquisition.
  • Manage marketing metrics and analytics, set targets, and report progress against acquisition and engagement goals.

Requirements

  • Multiple election cycles working in Democratic or progressive politics, such as campaigns, committees, independent expenditures, labor, advocacy, or consulting firms serving them.
  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, growth, adoption, or a client-facing role with direct ownership of product usage.
  • Strong ability to explain complex products clearly to busy audiences.
  • Understanding of software development from ideation through beta and launch, with the ability to distinguish messaging problems from product problems.
  • Familiarity with survey research, including reading crosstabs and explaining message testing without overclaiming.
  • Comfort representing products in panels, client meetings, trainings, and conferences.
  • Experience actively experimenting with AI tools and building useful AI-assisted workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguous problems and changing election-cycle rhythms.
  • Authorization to work lawfully in the United States.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $120,000–$180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Medical, dental, and health benefits.
  • Remote work environment with some travel required for conferences, client offices, trainings, and internal gatherings.
