Leads technical implementations and customer adoption for Chainguard’s commercial Professional Services customers, partnering across account, Product, and Engineering teams. Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images, helping customers build securely with open source software across their organization.
- Partner with account teams, including AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support, to understand customer goals, pain points, and proposed solutions while driving account strategies, value realization, and retention.
- Act as “customer zero” by testing, documenting, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience while maintaining high quality standards for Chainguard images.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface customer requirements and help prioritize solutions.
- Maintain account-level architecture documentation and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
- Collaborate, teach, and continue learning alongside the team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- 2+ years in a pre-sales or post-sales customer-facing role.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
- Strong working knowledge of software development processes, practices, and engineering design concepts.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams and business partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Up to $165,000 base salary, plus bonus and equity.
