Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with advisors and strategic partners who can generate business leads.
- Identify decision-makers at the company’s top 100 accounts and use network relationships to create introductions.
- Develop deep knowledge of priority client verticals, including operational pressures, buying dynamics, and decision-makers.
- Represent the company at industry events, investor gatherings, and executive forums.
- Partner with founders to prioritize relationships and introductions against company goals.
- Track relationship activity and pipeline impact, refining strategy based on results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record.
- 5+ years of experience beginning in investment banking, private equity or venture capital, management consulting, or corporate law, followed by growth, go-to-market, or business development experience at a high-growth company.
- Existing, credible network across enterprise decision-makers and/or private equity, venture capital, and advisor communities.
- Track record of converting relationships and introductions into measurable business outcomes.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and sound business judgment.
- Strong executive presence and ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or JD.
- Experience inside a VC or PE firm, as an investor, platform team member, or portfolio company operator.
- International go-to-market or business development experience, particularly in EMEA or LATAM.
- Multilingual capabilities.
- Relationships with advisors, investors, or executives relevant to target markets and verticals.
Compensation and benefits
- $170,000–$220,000 annual salary, plus equity.
