Applied AI Engineer, Enterprise
Advises large French enterprises on adopting and deploying Claude, guiding technical evaluations, agent and application architecture, production readiness, and implementation partners. The role combines hands-on AI engineering expertise with enterprise consulting, value selling, executive communication, and fluent French-language engagement.

Responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise account executives and applied AI architects to guide French enterprise customers from initial conversation through technical evaluation, value validation, procurement, adoption, and deployment of Claude.
- Lead the technical workstream for enterprise opportunities and remain the customer’s trusted technical advisor throughout deployment.
- Define target architectures and success criteria with customers and systems-integration partners; advise delivery teams during implementation.
- Advise engineering teams on Claude architecture, agent design, evaluation, security, scalability, and production deployment.
- Develop and present Claude’s business value case to executives in French and English, connecting technical capabilities to measurable costs, revenue, risk, and time-to-market outcomes.
- Manage technical evaluations, proofs of concept, security and architecture reviews, and production roadmaps involving multiple stakeholders.
- Conduct executive briefings, technical workshops, and training sessions.
- Address enterprise security, compliance, data residency, and governance requirements with customers and internal teams.
- Identify patterns across engagements and share insights with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams.
- Travel to customer sites in France for executive meetings, workshops, and relationship building.
Requirements
- Native or fluent written and spoken French.
- More than 6 years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, forward-deployed engineer, or technical founder.
- Experience in pre-sales or technical consulting for large enterprises, including scoping and designing complex solutions.
- Experience with value-based selling, business-case development, impact quantification, and executive presentation.
- Ability to present to and build relationships with C-level and VP stakeholders.
- Experience owning technical success for enterprise deals, including evaluations, proofs of concept, and technical due diligence with engineering, security, legal, and procurement teams.
- Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and large-scale deployment.
- Hands-on software engineering experience designing and deploying production applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to technical and executive audiences across industries.
- Strong interest in building safe and beneficial powerful technology.
