Technical product specialist and solutions architect guiding EMEA customers and field teams on production generative AI, deep learning, agentic systems, and LLM post-training. The role requires strong hands-on experience with PyTorch, distributed training, reinforcement learning, Python, SQL, Spark, cloud platforms, and customer-facing technical delivery.

Responsibilities
- Deliver thought leadership on generative AI best practices for the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform through blogs, webinars, how-to guides, and technical guidance.
- Drive generative AI adoption across EMEA with sales and Field Engineering leaders.
- Provide data-driven input to Product and Engineering teams to influence product strategy and priorities.
- Advise senior technical leads and executives on large-scale enterprise generative AI competitive scenarios.
- Help customers translate research innovations into production-grade AI applications, including reinforcement learning and fine-tuning use cases.
- Own enablement and escalations for relevant generative AI features within the EMEA Field Engineering team.
Requirements
- Experience designing and delivering production-grade generative AI and deep learning solutions in customer or enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with large language models, Transformer architectures, PyTorch, and distributed or multi-GPU training.
- Experience with LLM post-training methods beyond fine-tuning, including supervised fine-tuning, reward modeling, RLHF/RLAIF, and policy optimization methods such as PPO or GRPO.
- Ability to advise customers on generative AI and deep learning architectures, translate requirements into technical solutions, and remove implementation blockers.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, cloud platforms, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-facing and pre-sales experience is highly desirable.
