Applied Value Engineer - EAM-EMEA

Responsibilities

• Understand customers’ AI strategies and business-critical challenges; identify problem-solution fit and translate requirements into innovative Celonis solutions.
• Rapidly build LLM- and agent-based prototypes for customer hackathons.
• Enable customers to shift from traditional automation to autonomous AI agents powered by the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
• Execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects, including architecture, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and guardrails, while ensuring compliance with enterprise data and identity frameworks.
• Discover and translate strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases.
• Build demos and business cases using industry benchmarks and best practices.
• Undertake value assessments and Proof-of-Value projects; communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives.
• Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify process-enhancement opportunities.
• Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
• Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
• Own the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal.
• Build strategic expansion roadmaps embedding Celonis Process Intelligence as a business transformation platform.
• Provide product-development feedback based on new use cases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as solution consulting, sales engineering, or IT/management consulting with a business software or SaaS provider; equivalent enterprise in-house analytics or intelligence experience is also relevant.
• Good knowledge of business software and SaaS applications, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience implementing RPA or BI tools, and building dashboards, apps, or action flows.
• Hands-on experience with Python, AI building, and AI consulting.
• Experience identifying business-process-improvement use cases and deploying improvement measures.
• Experience acting as a change agent and training users or process owners to realize value.
• Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple projects.
• Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with process-mining tools and technologies.
• Domain or industry knowledge in supply chain, finance, consumer packaged goods, banking and financial services, or manufacturing.
• Automotive and manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems using LLM orchestration, RAG, function calling, and prompt engineering, with rigorous evaluations and guardrails.
• Working knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source LLM ecosystem packages.
• Experience deploying and monitoring models at scale on AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or Google Cloud Vertex AI.
