Solutions Engineer
The Solutions Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, leading discovery, solution reviews, proofs of concept, RFPs, and security discussions. The role requires at least three years of technical pre-sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to translate customer challenges into tailored solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery to identify and address customer needs.
- Deliver pre-sales experiences that articulate Fin’s value and technical capabilities.
- Conduct value-based solution reviews and in-depth technical sessions.
- Design and lead tailored proof-of-concept (POC) engagements.
- Serve as the primary resource for RFPs and customer security questions, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to represent customer feedback and influence product planning.
- Build customer trust through empathy, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving.
- Improve processes and contribute to a best-in-class Solutions Engineering playbook.
- Support customer success and occasionally travel.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role managing C-level technical and business relationships.
- Strong technical acumen, including technical discovery and value presentations.
- Ability to solve problems independently and collaborate effectively.
- Strong time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into tailored solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence product direction.
- Familiarity with POCs, RFPs, and complex security questions.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
- OTE salary range for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area: $190,800–$227,900 USD.
- Eligible employees may receive a corporate bonus or sales incentive, with the target included in OTE.
- Stock may be provided in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

- Hybrid policy requiring employees to work in the office at least three days per week.
