Enterprise Solutions Engineer

Own the technical sales process for strategic enterprise customers, including solution architecture, demonstrations, and proofs of concept. The role requires 5+ years of B2B SaaS pre-sales experience, enterprise deal leadership, REST API fluency, and ideally identity or cybersecurity expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and product expert for prospects and customers, owning technical responsibilities throughout the sales process.
  • Architect and deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs) for complex enterprise customers.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions that connect technical requirements to customer business goals.
  • Define strong POC success criteria and own the process through implementation readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally on technical and process investments that scale go-to-market teams, accelerate implementation, and support customers.
  • Lead Solutions Engineering initiatives, including improving demo environments, enabling self-service onboarding, and supporting partner-channel enablement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the identity market and supported use cases.
  • Report on market trends, competition, customer success stories, and recurring field challenges.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience navigating and leading complex enterprise deal cycles.
  • Demonstrated success managing the pre-sales process for enterprise customers.
  • Fluency in RESTful APIs and associated tooling such as Postman.
  • Knowledge of database models; comfort reading Python is a plus.
  • Empathetic, customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to work in a high-growth startup environment where resources and processes are being built and refined.
  • Comfort leveraging AI tooling such as Co-work, Codex, and Cursor in everyday workflows.

  • Previous startup experience.
