Responsibilities
- Own high-priority business questions end to end and provide recommendations for the CEO and executive leadership.
- Build financial analyses and models, including pulling data and validating assumptions.
- Investigate operational issues across freight modes and regions, including pricing, planning, and buy/build/partner decisions.
- Visit warehouses, ports, and customer supply chain teams to understand operations firsthand.
- Run the operating cadence for a freight mode or region, including weekly metrics, quarterly plans, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate stakeholders and remove blockers across teams.
- Use AI and automation to improve personal and business workflows.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, a high-growth operating role, or entrepreneurship.
- Ability to build and defend a financial model from a blank sheet.
- Experience turning ambiguous problems and research into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
- Strong curiosity about freight and the movement of physical goods.
- Clear, concise writing and the judgment to influence senior stakeholders.
- Compliance-first mindset in a regulated industry.
- Willingness to work onsite and be in the room; this role is not remote.
Compensation
- US base salary: $160,000–$180,000 USD.
- Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and benefits.
