Technical Business Development Representative
Own named-account prospecting for an enterprise sales team serving aerospace, defense, and industrial engineering organizations. The role requires 1–4 years of customer-facing experience, strong researched communication, account prioritization, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of named accounts and drive outreach from first contact through qualified meeting.
- Map organizational structures to identify decision-makers, champions, and technical stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and program leadership.
- Prioritize accounts using funding, leadership, program, and industry-news signals.
- Identify new opportunities and emerging markets outside assigned accounts.
- Run personalized, multi-channel outreach through email and LinkedIn.
- Partner with an Account Executive on account strategy, pipeline visibility, meeting handoff, and initial calls as needed.
- Maintain accurate CRM and account records.
- Travel to industry events and customer sites when useful for named accounts.
- Use AI-assisted tools to synthesize account research and draft outreach.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in a customer-facing, high-performance environment such as B2B sales development, consulting, program support, or capture support.
- Strong written communication and ability to create specific, researched outreach.
- Ability to own a portfolio and prioritize independently.
- High motivation, drive, and resourcefulness.
- Genuine curiosity about hard technology, aerospace, defense, or industrial engineering.
- Willingness to travel for events and customer visits.
- U.S. person status required for ITAR/EAR compliance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience selling into or supporting government or defense programs.
- Familiarity with account mapping or capture strategy in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
- Experience with Clarify, Salesforce, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Compensation
- $75,000–$125,000 base salary per year.
- $25,000–$50,000 annual bonus.
