Internal AI Innovation Lead

Leads the company’s internal AI platforms, education programs, business-led prototypes, and AI Champion community. The role requires strong hands-on generative AI fluency, rapid prototyping ability, internal product thinking, and excellent enablement and change-leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal AI platforms, tools, and sandboxes as products, ensuring adoption, guardrails, and continuous improvement based on user needs.
  • Design and lead AI training programs, workshops, and resource hubs to help employees adopt AI effectively.
  • Partner with business units to identify opportunities and build, test, and launch rapid AI proof-of-concept prototypes.
  • Build and mentor a cross-departmental community of AI Champions who can design AI solutions for their teams.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and trends and demonstrate practical ways to embed AI into everyday operations.

Requirements

  • Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools, generative AI platforms, custom agents, and prompt engineering.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for AI automation.
  • Experience rapidly prototyping with low-code/no-code AI builders, platform features, or lightweight tools.
  • Experience treating internal platforms or programs as products, using feedback, iteration, and adoption metrics to improve the user experience.
  • Track record of designing training, building employee communities, and teaching non-technical teams to use new technology.
  • Strong storytelling, facilitation, communication, mentorship, and change-leadership skills.

Compensation

  • Pay range: $172,800–$384,000 USD.
  • Starting pay depends on factors including primary work location, skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
  • For roles with on-target earnings, the range includes base salary and target incentive compensation.
