Senior Solutions Architect
Leads customer implementations and adoption of secure open-source software solutions across EMEA. The role requires 8+ years of application development experience, strong Kubernetes and container expertise, a bachelor’s degree, and excellent communication with technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard Images, helping customers build securely with open source software across their organizations.
- Partner with account teams—including account executives, sales engineers, customer success managers, and support—to understand customer goals and pain points, develop account strategies, and drive value realization, retention, and growth.
- Act as “customer zero” by testing and documenting Chainguard Images and ensuring smooth customer onboarding.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to communicate customer requirements and determine priorities for image builds.
- Maintain account-level architecture and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
- Collaborate with, teach, and learn from the broader team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Strong knowledge of software development processes, practices, and software engineering design concepts.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to executives.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
