Senior Product Marketing Manager - New Products

Leads zero-to-one product marketing for emerging B2B software products, shaping product strategy, positioning, launches, commercialization, and adoption. Requires 6+ years of relevant experience, strong customer and data fluency, technical communication skills, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product strategy early using customer, market, competitive, and performance evidence.
  • Define the ideal customer profile, buyers, users, jobs to be done, workflows, alternatives, and switching or expansion drivers.
  • Own product positioning, messaging, claims, proof, and competitive narratives.
  • Design zero-to-one go-to-market strategies covering audience, channels, pricing and packaging inputs, sales and self-serve motions, launch sequencing, and adoption.
  • Lead launches across Product, Engineering, Sales, Growth, Creative, Communications, Support, and other partners.
  • Build commercialization programs, enablement, proof, and feedback loops that drive pipeline, activation, retained usage, expansion, and revenue.
  • Work deeply with Product and Engineering to understand architecture, data, constraints, and trust models.
  • Build customer relationships, conduct structured discovery, capture objections and product gaps, and inform product and go-to-market decisions.
  • Own leading and lagging business metrics, including activation, adoption, retention, pipeline, conversion, revenue, and product usage.
  • Develop customer evidence, use cases, benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
  • Use AI for research, synthesis, analysis, content development, and repeatable workflows.
  • Create a repeatable new-products playbook from customer signal through product-market clarity, launch, commercialization, and scaled growth.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing, product management, growth, strategy, or another product-led go-to-market function.
  • Significant ownership of a product or business outcome.
  • Demonstrated zero-to-one experience with a new product, category, platform, or business line, from customer discovery through launch and adoption.
  • Experience influencing product strategy with customer, market, competitive, and performance evidence.
  • Strong customer discovery and market-signal judgment.
  • Technical and operational fluency, with the ability to work credibly with Product and Engineering.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Strong data literacy and ability to turn metrics into decisions.
  • Ability to lead senior cross-functional partners without formal authority.
  • High agency and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Fluency with AI tools for research, analysis, writing, and operating workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, payments, accounts receivable, accounting, developer tools, data infrastructure, AI, or another technical, workflow-heavy category.
  • Experience taking a product from incubation through product-market fit and scaled commercialization.
  • Experience with both product-led and sales-led growth motions.
  • Experience contributing to pricing and packaging decisions.
  • Experience as an early or founding product marketing manager, product manager, founder, or operator.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $156,000–$210,000.
