Manager, Music Marketing

Leads end-to-end artist marketing campaigns and partnerships at the intersection of music, product, and brand. Requires 8–10 years in music or entertainment, talent-management experience, strong industry relationships, and expertise in campaign execution and rights structures.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, execution, and performance of artist marketing campaigns from end to end.
  • Develop campaigns and opportunities that help fans discover, experience, create, remix, and interact with music and artists on Suno.
  • Collaborate with marketing, editorial, communications, creative, brand, growth, product, and engineering teams to build artist, creative-community, and industry programs.
  • Represent the artist community in product launches and define artist marketing for a music creation and interaction platform.
  • Serve as a senior relationship holder and escalation point for priority artist and industry partnerships.
  • Establish campaign-operation best practices, including data analysis, rights clearances, contracting, cross-functional coordination, and performance reporting.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on artist agreements and payments.
  • Report on campaign success, reach, performance, and remix metrics.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in the music and entertainment industries, preferably at a digital service provider, management company, or record label.
  • Experience working with talent and sensitivity to artists and their creative projects.
  • Deep familiarity with music-industry structures, including recording, publishing, and representation agreements.
  • Experience ideating, executing, and managing end-to-end artist marketing campaigns with cross-functional stakeholders and complex logistics.
  • Established relationships with artists, managers, and other music-industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with senior artist teams and external partners.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a high-growth environment.
  • Passion for music and belief in technology’s potential to expand creative access and expression.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a music technology, streaming, or artificial intelligence company.
  • Experience working with or alongside product and engineering teams.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary: $160,000–$210,000.
