Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, document, and optimize Quote to Cash business processes and supporting technology capabilities.
- Gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, and feedback sessions.
- Create current-state and future-state process maps covering quoting, approvals, contracting, ordering, billing, invoicing, renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
- Identify process gaps, manual workarounds, data-quality issues, and operational bottlenecks; recommend scalable improvements.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and documentation.
- Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced.
- Analyze product configuration, bundles, pricing rules, discount schedules, quote templates, approval workflows, amendments, renewals, and order processes.
- Assess impacts on Salesforce objects, data models, automation, security, reporting, integrations, and downstream financial processes.
- Manage Quote to Cash backlog items and author Features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in a SAFe Agile environment.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Track dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions, scope changes, and blockers.
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation plans; coordinate UAT, defect triage, retesting, and sign-off.
- Support release planning, change management, release notes, training materials, and end-user communications.
- Monitor post-release performance and user feedback to identify defects, adoption gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise business applications.
- 3+ years supporting Quote to Cash, Lead to Cash, or related revenue operations processes in a B2B SaaS or subscription-based business.
- Hands-on functional experience with Salesforce CPQ, including configuration, bundles, pricing, discounting, approvals, quote generation, amendments, renewals, and related workflows.
- Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced or comparable revenue lifecycle, order management, or billing capabilities.
- Ability to gather and document complex requirements, create process maps, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and manage requirements through delivery.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban; familiarity with backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI Planning, and UAT.
- Understanding of Salesforce data models, workflow automation, reporting, security, and integration dependencies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Boomi or other enterprise integration platforms, including integration patterns, data mappings, error handling, and reconciliation.
- Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
- Experience with Zuora or other subscription billing and revenue platforms.
- SAFe, SAFe POPM, SAFe Practitioner, or equivalent Agile certification.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $77,630–$121,990.
