Partner Operations Manager
Leads and develops a remote team of Partner Operations professionals supporting healthcare payer workflows and customer outcomes. Requires 5+ years of healthcare operations experience, 2+ years supervising operational teams, and strong coaching and performance-management skills.

Responsibilities
- Recruit, manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10–12 Partner Operations Associates and Senior Associates, also known as Prior Authorization Assistants.
- Conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
- Support interviewing, candidate evaluation, and employee onboarding.
- Collaborate with Lead Partner Operations Associates to improve quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a limited personal caseload of approximately 25% to stay current on the work and payer changes.
- Monitor team performance metrics and identify coaching opportunities.
- Manage scheduling, PTO, attendance, and day-to-day employee support.
- Address performance concerns and implement development plans.
- Ensure consistent execution of operational standards.
- Support organizational change management and adoption of new technology.
- Escalate staffing or operational risks to the Head of Partner Operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of healthcare operations experience.
- 2+ years leading or supervising operational teams.
- Experience coaching employees through performance management and professional development.
- Experience interviewing and onboarding employees.
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations.
- People-first leadership, accountability, coaching ability, attention to detail, collaboration, and adaptability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with athenahealth and/or NextGen.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $85,000–$95,000.
