Manager, Outreach and Engagement

Manages and develops an outreach team responsible for patient engagement and enrollment, using call-quality reviews, performance metrics, and process improvements to achieve KPIs. Requires healthcare outreach management experience, leadership ability, Medicaid knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of outreach specialists, providing training and coaching to achieve enrollment KPIs.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training for new specialists.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative outreach metrics to identify trends and improve enrollment and CAC performance.
  • Monitor call quality and protocol adherence through regular audits of call recordings and specialist interactions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interactions, outcomes, and follow-up actions while adhering to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for inbound and outbound calling.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of specialist calls and documentation.
  • Create and maintain team schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines for outreach activities.
  • Foster a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, public health, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare management, particularly outbound calling and proactive outreach.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid policies, procedures, and value-based care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse patient populations.
  • Leadership experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare software systems and CRM tools.
  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Ability to work some evenings; standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST.

  • Expected salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually.
