Responsibilities
- Advise functional leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and growth plans as the company scales.
- Own headcount planning and data integrity for client groups.
- Build playbooks and frameworks for organizational design, performance calibration, compensation cycles, career ladders, and headcount planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, distinguishing coaching opportunities, policy issues, and escalations.
- Coach leaders and managers on performance, feedback, and people leadership.
- Contribute to learning and development, People Programs, and Total Rewards initiatives.
- Run performance reviews and compensation cycles end to end, including calibration, consistency, and communication.
- Use attrition, span-of-control, and performance-distribution metrics to identify organizational risks.
- Use AI tools, including the company's own product, as part of daily work.
- Build durable systems while managing day-to-day operational responsibilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in HR.
- Strong track record as an HRBP or People Partner in high-growth, fast-paced technology companies.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to partner credibly with functional leaders.
- Curious, analytical problem solver who addresses root causes.
- Employee-focused approach to designing people systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Comfortable operating strategically and hands-on in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Experience partnering with Finance on headcount planning and compensation strategy.
- Ability to work in an office five days per week in San Francisco.
